This role will support a large e-commerce, cloud computing, and digital streaming company to achieve their aggressive energy and sustainability goals. The scope for this position will begin by assisting the client in preparing for a large electric vehicle roll out. The role will also get exposure to supporting energy and sustainably programs, utility procurement, and energy efficiency programs. Read on Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Advise in advanced energy management strategies such as time of use and magnitude of use 2. Support in utility rate selection based on EV load projections 3. Support in utility procurement of EV specific electric loads 4. Assist EV team regarding power demand projections and securing power supply 5. Develop/improve a project management plan including detailed schedule, and a mechanism to track progress, changes, and project roadblocks, including any requested resources from the client to fully complete the deliverables 6. Work with financed teams to extract energy consumption and cost data for sites within business unit. 7. Produce preliminary monthly energy management reporting metrics for EV cost, usage and demand 8. Analyze EV database on a regular basis and identify anomalies in data 9. Produce monthly reporting for active sites with EV energy usage 10. Support larger energy and sustainability team in projects involving energy efficiency, building management systems, utility procurement, and energy performance contracting. Financial Acumen: Knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and project management to effectively manage resources and allocate funding for sustainability initiatives. 6. Negotiation skillset 7. Desire to mentor and grow professionals within CBRE's organization 8. Organized and consistent 9. Inquisitive with high learning agility 10. Empathetic, collaborative, and listening skills 11. High comfort level in holding calls with project managers, developers and utility company stakeholders around topics such as power capacity requirements, construction timelines, and charging infrastructure programs. 16. Willingness to reprioritize and shift gears to different assignments to adapt to the clients' needs. 17. Understanding of project financials and cost implications. 18. Advanced MS Excel skillset including Power Query experience. Proficient with SQL queries. 19. Experience building and maintaining business tools using Google AppSheet, Smartsheet, MS SharePoint, Airtable or similar low/no code SaaS platforms. 20. Last Mile delivery, fleet management, logistics nice to have 21. Data analysis/modeling experience (SQL, Python, R) nice to have 22. Data visualization experience (Quicksight, Tableau and PowerBI) nice to have Supervisory Responsibilities No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position initially. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-works within a work unit and/or project. Education and Experience Education: A bachelor's in environmental science, sustainability, business administration, engineering, or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of related experience and/or training. Certificates and/or Licenses CEM or EMIT accreditation preferred Communication Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a must. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to clients. Ability to effectively present information. Financial Knowledge Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis. Reasoning Ability Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and qualitative skills. Other Skills and Abilities Ability to write reports, manuals in a pre-designed style and format. Scope of Responsibility Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $100,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $118,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
