Job Summary: OWT Global is seeking a self-driven and experienced Hostile Forces - Tagging, Tracking, and Locating Subject Matter Expert with a highly technical background that can couple their military expertise in support of Special Operations Forces Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (SOF AT&L) Program Executive Office for Tactical Information Systems (PEO-TIS) HF-TTL program coupled with unmanned and remote capabilities PEO-TIS executes the acquisition of state-of-the-art sensors, command and control, personnel recovery, and specialized communication systems across all domains to hyper-enable Special Operations Forces (SOF) personnel and units, SOF Component Headquarters, and Theater Special Operations. In this position, the HF-TTL Subject Matter Expert (SME) will execute tasks and activities supporting the HF-TTL program, including integrating HF-TTL technology projects with unmanned and remote capabilities to align with desired operational effects. Work will be performed onsite in Tampa, Florida. This position requires a self-driven, technical, and operational professional to engage in the development, test, and delivery of state-of-the-art technology solutions to the SOF enterprise. Position Duties and Responsibilities: Execute across a wide range of tasks using technical and operational practices and processes to determine technical needs and requirements in the acquisition, technical development, training, and sustainment of systems consistent with program objectives Become a self-driven Subject Matter Expert (SME) on newly developed sensor systems by studying documentation, testing, and writing and validating requirements of newly developed sensor systems. Represent the customer as a highly valued technical SME to higher headquarters and external agencies. Translate and document user community operational requirements into test and evaluation requirements for the rapid acquisition of system and sub-system technology developments. Manage system development, required documentation, and technical requirements from development execution through training, testing, and fielding of advanced sensor systems. Engage in the planning and executing developmental & operational test and evaluation cycles to ensure the successful validation and fielding of advanced sensor systems. Recommend system operational employment guidelines based on developmental and final system specifications and testing results, and system capabilities to ensure SOF success. Maintain familiarity with current Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and Government Off the Shelf (GOTS) equipment and new technology. Perform duties, as required, in the planning, forecasting, configuration, and logistics of systems in development and test through fielding. CONUS or OCONUS travel may be required up to 20% on average Job Requirements: U.S Citizen Top Secret clearance while maintaining SCI eligibility Onsite, USSOCOM HQ, Tampa, FL Basic Qualification: 6 years of Special Operations, intelligence community, or similar experience relating to the operational integration and employment of advanced sensor systems and unmanned systems in multi-domain environments Ability to translate CONOPs and user operational needs to a technical requirement Ability to develop test plans and perform testing to validate sensor systems Ability to work in an office environment Ability to travel and work outdoors in a multi-climate environment to support testing and evaluation Skilled with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint products Ability to track, handle, and lift equipment up to 30 Valued Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: 10 years of combined Special Operations and Technical Surveillance Operator/Element/Detachment (TSO/TSE/TSD) experience Unmanned system payload requirements, integration, and testing Operational integration and employment of complex sensor systems with unique communications architectures Experience working with advanced waveforms, system hardware, and unique system architectures, coupled with secure metadata dissemination paths across multi-domain environments Desired technical training or education Highly technically experienced through operational employment and successes.
