(GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ.

Responsibilities

Field survey of existing mechanical, fire protection, and plumbing systemsDesign of HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, and health-care facilitiesDesign of Plumbing and Fire Protection systems a plusPreparation of construction documents including drawings, specifications, calculations, and detailsApproval of mechanical submittals and aid in RFI responses during construction administrationUse engineering and design computer software to complete assigned work (i.e. Autodesk Revit MEP & AutoCAD)

Qualifications

10+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experienceBachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited programProfessional Engineering requiredIntimate knowledge of New York Building CodesAble to meet strict deadlines and work well under pressure and work on several projects at onceStrong communication skills and project level leadership skills with clients and teamExperienced in engineering and design computer software to complete assigned projects which including AutoCad and RevitWe are committed to your success, and we invest in your growth and development to unlock your full potential.Competitive Total Compensation PackageEmployee- Only Stock Purchase PlanMentoring programsContinuing Education ProgramEmployee referral bonusVolunteer/Industry association opportunitiesOur Culture:We believe in the power of collaboration.
