Responsible for calibrating a variety of test instruments for one or more skill areas, such as:Electrical EquipmentIndustrial EquipmentTemperature EquipmentPerform standards maintenance & checking of company standards if assigned by Lab ManagerCollect calibration data and record information on data sheets. Complete calibration certifications, including out of tolerance conditions.Continue to be trained in all aspects of Micro Precision Calibration Services and share gained knowledge and other best practices with other team membersObserve safety precautions and quality standards in the performance of tasks and compliy with the companyClearly communicate calibration issues and procedures with customers and coworkers on the phone, in person and through emailRequirements:
RequirementsValid Driver's LicenseBasic Knowledge of Mechanical and Dimensional equipment preferredExperience in basic instrumentation and manual tools preferredBasic mathematics understandingExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsExperience in MS Word and ExcelAbility to work both independently and under the supervision of Senior TechniciansAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistanceTrainingWe accept applicants new to the calibration industry who are eager to learn
Work Environment· Work performed in the local laboratory and at customer facilities· Up to 25% out of town, overnight travelAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment at Micro Precision without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or protected veteran status
