MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Learn how to assign, produce, write and edit multimedia news storiesHave the opportunity to create original contentLearn to pitch ideas and communicate why a piece will workHone news judgmentWork in a deadline-driven environment and learn to operate under pressureHave an experience that will foster interpersonal skills, quick and creative writing and exacting copy skills.Learn how to report and produce stories for radio and digital audiences, including acquiring audio editing skills with potential for voicing experience.Work will include collaborating with and shadowing reporters and editors.Qualifications
Intern candidates should have demonstrated experience in journalism, radio/multi-media preferred. They should also be assertive and comfortable calling people on the phone to help secure people for show interviews. They must be a fast learner on the technical side. Strong writing skills required. Web design skills and some basic understanding of video production and editing processes a plus.

*Individual must be a current junior or senior undergraduate student, graduate student or recent graduate (no more than three years from graduation date).
