The Data Quality Sr. Analyst helps to ensure data sourced and provisioned by different areas, meets all required Data Quality standards. In this role, moderately complex and variable issues are evaluated with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. The Data Quality Sr. Analyst assesses, evaluates, and analyzes data challenges and provide recommendations on their resolution. They collaborate with an array of teams and groups, developing subject matter expertise and knowledge of industry practices and standards. Responsibilities: Partners with Enterprise Chief Data Office to contribute to the development of procedure guidelines and standards addressing Data Certification and Data Quality managementDevelop methods to identify data patterns and trends in available data sources, perform data quality analytics and identify data challengesContribute to Data Quality resolution strategies and practicesAssist in data improvement initiatives in compliance with Citi Data Governance PolicyAssists in the remediation of Audit and Regulatory feedback on issues and concerns Report Data Quality issues through Citi's corresponding Data/Issue management process, and/or Coordinate efforts for Data consumption demand and Data requirement from strategic data repositoriesLiaise with other areas of the firm to understand data challenges and solutions. Supports identification of data quality rules, thresholds, and other business requirementsPerform financial reconciliation, and measure Data Quality to drive data quality resolutionDefine and formulate business requirements documents that contribute to resolve Data Quality issuesLead project management activities Support senior management strategic visionAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparencyQualifications:5-8 years of experience with defining and implementing Data Quality programs; Banking or Finance industry preferred Strong analytical skills and attention to detailStrong project management skillsOptimizes work processes by knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvementProficient in using data management and analysis tools including basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Working knowledge of Collibra and other Data Governance industry standard toolsIntermediate proficiency in System Query Language (SQL)Working knowledge of Tableau (report consumer, developer, etc.)Demonstrated understanding of Database structuresProven ability to provide in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutionsAnticipates and balances the needs of multiple stakeholders, while monitoring tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changesCommunicates effectively in non-technical terms at all levels of the organizationCollaborates effectively by building partnerships and working well with others to meet shared objectivesEducation:Bachelor's/University degreeJob Family Group: Data GovernanceJob Family:Data Quality & Data Quality Analytics and ReportingTime Type:Full timePrimary Location:Jersey City New Jersey United StatesPrimary Location Full Time Salary Range:$109,120.00 - $163,680.00In addition to salary, Citi's offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
