Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Stamping Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. As a Stamping Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining stamping press machines to produce high-quality parts and components for our products. Your attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and commitment to safety will be critical to the success of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Setup: Set up stamping press machines by installing and aligning dies, adjusting machine settings, and ensuring proper tooling for the production run.Material Handling: Load raw materials, such as metal sheets or plastic, into the stamping press and position them correctly for efficient and accurate stamping.Operation: Operate the stamping press machine, starting and stopping it as required, and monitor the production process to ensure parts meet quality standards.Quality Control: Regularly inspect produced parts to verify they conform to specified dimensions, tolerances, and visual quality standards. Identify and address any defects or deviations from requirements.Troubleshooting: Detect and address minor technical issues that may arise during operation, such as misfeeds, jams, or irregular stamping. Notify supervisors or maintenance personnel for more significant problems.Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn-out or damaged parts, to keep the stamping press in optimal working condition.Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Report any safety concerns or incidents immediately.Production Records: Maintain accurate production records, including the number of parts produced, machine settings used, and any issues encountered during the production run.Communication: Collaborate effectively with supervisors, team members, and quality control personnel to ensure smooth production flow and address any operational issues that may impact productivity or quality.Preferred qualifications:Candidate must have some or all of the following Educational/Technical requirements:

Previous Experience: Proven experience as a Stamping Press Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with stamping press machines, their operation, setup, and maintenance procedures.Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to understand machine mechanics and troubleshoot minor issues independently.Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate production and quality control.Preferred skills and abilities:Candidate must have some or all of the following skills and abilities:

Physical Stamina: Capability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy materials, and perform physically demanding tasks.Safety Awareness: Demonstrated commitment to following safety protocols and guidelines.Team Player: Strong team player with good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.Flexibility: Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to changing production demands.
