Project Manager

(GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ.
Responsibilities
Handling a variety of tasks including coordinating and managing various environmental investigation and/or industrial hygiene assignments including Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, Community Air monitoring, indoor air quality, asbestos, lead, mold and PCB projectsScheduling environmental field staff and technicians for various environmental contracts, as well as project coordination and site meetingsOverseeing the planning and execution of investigation, hazmat survey and remediation monitoring projects in accordance with applicable federal, state and local regulationsAssist Project Managers with budget tracking and invoicingPreparation of reportsWill work mainly on contracts based in NYC and Long Island. May also include upstate NY assignments
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology or Environmental Studies/Sciences related field preferredQualified candidate must have 5-10 years’ experience in environmental investigation, industrial hygiene, asbestos, lead paint and/or mold inspections. Additional environmental work experience is a plusValid NYS DOL and/ or NYC DEP Certifications for asbestos and moldExcellent written and oral communication skills. Report writing, as well as invoice preparation experience neededWorking knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) requiredExperience working with NYC and NYS government agencies a plusOur Culture:We believe in the power of collaboration.
