Medical Receptionist position for a very team-work oriented practice and are seeking someone with professionalism, strong work ethic and drive. Willingness to Travel is preferredMedical receptionist experience is preferred, but not required. Training for insurance verification and practice management system will be provided upon hiring.Responsibilities:Greeting and interacting with patients in a pleasant and professional matter in person, via phone, or emailSchedule new and follow-up appointments based on provider availabilityConfirm appointments for new and follow up patientsPossess a calm, reassuring, competent demeanor, and the ability to be sensitive to patient needs and attitudeBe capable of multi-tasking.Be a mature, pleasant adult, conservative and tasteful in appearance, able to relate to the patient baseBe capable of masking emotions and frustration when dealing with difficult situations and/or patientsBe knowledgeable about services and products available at our facility.Warmly and professionally greet patients and visitors. Notify personnel of arrival of patientsFacilitate communication among office personnel concerned with each patient. Instruct patient on use of waiting room telephone and availability of educational videosAccurately communicate information to patients and to staff in a concise mannerAssist staff and visitors in placing outgoing calls, as appropriate and necessary. Screen calls to direct caller to appropriate staffDetermine urgency of a patient's call and handle in accordance with office policy.Be capable of answering general questions regarding the practice, physicians, procedures, insurance, and cost in accordance with office policyMaintain current knowledge of activities, policies and procedures, and outreach/promotional activities (newspaper advertising, seminars, luncheons).Participate in staff meetings; attend relevant educational activities at the request of supervisorAssist with medical records, as needed and as time permits, with chart preparation, filing, and typing of chart labelsQualifications:Previous experience in office administration or other related fieldsAbility to prioritize and multitaskExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detailStrong organizational skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to travel to multiple locationsAbout Skin and AestheticsSkin and Aesthetic Centers is a comprehensive management care organization.
