What would this role do?

The Behavior Interventionist plays a critical role in implementing behavioral health treatments for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. Through strategic programs and initiatives, this position will assist families seeking support with Autism and other related developmental disabilities by providing behavioral health treatment in-home, at a support center or in a community. This position is responsible for making meaningful change in the Client and families’ life.

Competitive compensation (we value transparency) $20.00 - $23.00/hour

An additional $1.00 will be offered for Spanish bilingual candidates. Role Responsibilities (Here’s what it takes)

Provide 1:1 care directly with Clients during scheduled sessions under the supervision of a Board- Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).Implement established behavioral treatment plans based on the science of applied behavior analysis (ABA) across skill levels, moderate to severe problem behaviors, and service delivery settings.Ensure that 100% of the scheduled direct services are provided without any scheduling interruptions.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, interventions, and outcomes.Collect data related to Client’s progress during treatment sessions.Incorporate activities and games that are developmentally appropriate and engaging for the client in alignment with the treatment plan.Promote Client engagement to build their strengths in a natural and enjoyable manner.Consulting with case Supervisor on treatment plans, Client updates, and intervention strategies.Receiving and utilizing ongoing training, guidance, and support.Follow program procedures, administrative tasks, direct therapy skills, and other duties that are in line with our compliance requirements.Maintaining reliable communication to record scheduled appointments and return phone calls within 24 hours.Ensuring that the company’s “zero tolerance policy” is understood, implemented, and reinforced in the region.Completing all duties, tasks, and/or special projects assigned by leaders and/or the business.Participating in team meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.Providing makes up hours as an alternate care team member.Maintaining eligible transportation and current liability insurance (if applicable).
