Learfield Amplify is looking to add a high impact team member to lead our Development and Ticket Sales property at Louisiana Tech. This position will serve as a Leadership Annual Giving/Major Gift Officer as part of the Championship Resources Team at La Tech. In complete collaboration with La Tech Athletics and the University, this position will be committed through first class professionalism to grow philanthropic investment to support the goals of La Tech Athletics and its student-athletes. This role will also oversee, facilitate and manage ticketing strategies to achieve or exceed annual sales goals, and directly supervise the Manger of Ticket Sales.
In this role you will work to achieve pre-defined KPIs centered around development activities, ticket sales and revenue for La Tech Athletics.
Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of leadership annual giving/major gift prospectsMake at least 10-15 substantive contacts per month with an emphasis on quality personal visits (e.g. significant moves that advance a relationship)Develop relationships with new donors that could lead to Major Gifts to La Tech AthleticsIdentify potential donors by examining past records; identifying individuals, agencies, and foundations; establishing personal networks with active and potential donors.Regularly conduct donor visits outside the officeOversee, facilitate, and manage revenue generating and ticketing strategies to meet or exceed annual sales goalsOversee and manage Account Executive and Development Specialist on the teamAttend La Tech Athletic events to engage with current and prospective donors and season ticket holdersNetwork at various community and corporate events including business after-hours, speaker series, etc.Achieve and exceed annual revenue goals established by managementAchieve and exceed weekly activity and hustle metricsProvide superior customer service to donors, prospects, and all fans of La Tech AthleticsWork closely with La Tech Championship Resources team and Learfield Amplify leadership team to develop new ideas and strategies for fundraising initiatives and campaignsProvide weekly and monthly revenue and activity reporting to La Tech AthleticsQualifications
Bachelor's Degree requiredMinimum of three (3) years of experience working in sales or development with collegiate and/or pro sports team and/or non-profit organizationsSuperior communication skills, collaborative with strong leadership and interpersonal skillsHighest level of personal and professional integrity and ethics with strong customer service skillsDemonstrate a proven track record in development/sales/revenue generation and building quality relationshipsStrong desire to learn about our business and grow your professional careerEffectively express ideas verbally and in writingAbility to take initiative and action on projects that may be beyond the scope of above responsibilities in the spirit of good partnershipBe able to generate original and imaginative solutions to business opportunitiesExperience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce, Microsoft CRM, etc.Willingness and ability to work long hours, including holidays and weekends as requiredWillingness and ability to travel
