JOB DESCRIPTION
EDUCATIONMinimum: Associates degree from accredited Respiratory Care program recognized by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).Preferred: Bachelor's degree from accredited Respiratory Care program recognized by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONCurrent Indiana Respiratory Care Practitioner license required; Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care or eligibility to sit for the exam required. RRT license preferred.
CPR required. ACLS required within one year of hire.
EXPERIENCEMinimum: Successful completion of clinical experience required for graduation from AMA-approved Respiratory Care training program.Preferred: Minimum of two years of acute care experience in Respiratory Care with Arterial Blood Gas puncture experience/skill; Critical Care experience; Pulmonary Function experience; EEG experience.
