Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated School-Based Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide skilled therapy services to students within school districts in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA. This role involves delivering both in-person and virtual therapy sessions, as well as collaborating with teachers, parents, and other clinicians to create effective treatment plans and set milestone goals for students.
Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive evaluations and skilled physical therapy services to students in schools, both in-person and through virtual platforms when applicable.Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop individualized treatment plans and set achievable milestone goals.Implement therapy programs that help students improve mobility, function, and participation in the school environment.Regularly assess and adjust treatment plans based on student progress.Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with school and state regulations.Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to provide input on student needs and therapy goals.Requirements:
Active California Physical Therapist license.Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.School-based experience preferred, but not required.Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.Ability to provide therapy in both in-person and virtual formats.Benefits:
