The ideal candidate must have the ability to read blueprints, program machines manually, and possess knowledge of all mechanical operations that the machine performs, including but not limited to: drill, mill, tap, countersink, scribe, plasma cutting, oxy cutting, beveling, stamping, and punching. Candidates must be able to operate an overhead crane. Compensation is dependent on previous working experience.
This position will work Monday through Friday, beginning at 7pm - 3am, and when overtime is required, the shift will operate 7pm - 7am. Must be able to work overtime and weekends when required.
Qualifications
Great attention to detail.Ideal candidates will be able to self-manage time and projects.Display the ability to use basic measuring devices, including tape measure and micrometers.Display the ability to use manual hand tools, including wrenches and clamps.Must be able to read and build from prints and shop drawings.Must be able to accurately use basic math skills.Observe all workplace safety rules and regulations.Must have a high school or equivalent diploma.Preferred Qualifications
Previous working experience utilizing an overhead crane.Previous working experience operating a drill, mill, tap, countersink, scribe, plasma cutting, oxy cutting, beveling, stamping, and punching.
Compensation: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
