Mitigation Manager for Mold
with extensive experience in managing mold remediation projects and handling insurance claims.
Job Summary:
As the
Insurance Restoration Mitigation Manager for Mold , you will be responsible for overseeing and managing mold remediation projects from initial assessment to completion. You will work closely with insurance adjusters, clients, and internal teams to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. Proficiency in
Xactimate
and
IICRC Certifications
are essential for this role, as well as a deep understanding of mold remediation protocols and insurance claim procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all aspects of mold mitigation and remediation projects. Conduct thorough inspections and assessments to determine the extent of mold damage. Use
Xactimate
to create detailed and accurate project estimates for insurance claims. Ensure all projects comply with
IICRC
standards and other industry guidelines for mold remediation. Coordinate with insurance adjusters, contractors, and clients to ensure timely approval and execution of projects. Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction. Train and manage teams to ensure adherence to safety and remediation protocols. Monitor and document all stages of the remediation process, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mold remediation techniques, industry standards, and relevant regulations. Requirements:
5+ years of experience
in mold remediation and mitigation. IICRC Certifications
in water, mold remediation, or fire damage restoration are required. Proficiency in
Xactimate
for creating estimates and managing insurance claims. Strong knowledge of mold remediation protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards. Proven track record of successfully managing mold remediation projects from start to finish. Experience working with insurance companies and adjusters to process claims. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working in the restoration industry. Additional certifications in water or fire restoration are a plus. Experience managing restoration teams and training staff on mold mitigation protocols. Benefits:
