Who you are…
• You are creative, driven, and passionate and love to have fun while you’re at work• You enjoy going above and beyond for your team and guests• You have a minimum of five years of progressive experience and leadership in the Culinary Arts• You are self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail• You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have experience managing multiple Chefs, cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers• You enjoy preparing exceptional food in a timely, courteous and accurate manner• You have pride in your presentation and display of your culinary art• You are able to work evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
What you’ll do…•
M anage daily food preparation and execution of meal periods while minimizing waste and spoilage•
M anagement of all culinary team members•
Receives product and supplies and stocks items in their designated storage areas.•
Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of all walk-in and reach-in refrigerators, and dry good storage areas•
Ensures clean and sanitary food preparation areas in accordance with state and local sanitation requirements and codes; focus is on food safety, a clean working environment, and careful attention to safe cooking practice•
Maintains cleaning standard checklists and performs final inspection of all side duties and closing responsibilities•
P urchasing decisions (food, paper goods, supplies) for the department, as well as inventory management•
Communicate clearly and develops strong working relationships with all team members working in banquets/events and throughout the property•
Remains abreast of industry trends and changes that may affect or enhance the offerings•
Participates in providing constructive feedback to team members on a consistent basis, contributing to performance management and employee recognition
