Position Summary
Teksouth is seeking a skilled Power Platform Developer to support the Army Budget Office. This role leverages the Microsoft Power Platform to deliver custom app solutions that address unique business needs for both government and commercial clients. While experience with Power Platform development is beneficial, applicants with a variety of technical backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Role Overview
As a Power Platform Developer, you will work at the intersection of requirements gathering, analytics, and solution design. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to translate business processes into Power Apps solutions and use low-code technology to enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop Power Apps solutions tailored to customer requirements.
Work directly with customers to understand and define their needs; conduct research to support solution development.
Actively participate in team meetings and collaborative sessions to deliver optimized solutions.
Review project deliverables to ensure quality, regulatory compliance, and adherence to Teksouth standards.
Lead agile prototyping sessions to showcase solution possibilities and develop creative solutions for complex business use cases.
Stay updated on industry best practices, new technologies, and emerging trends in Power Platform.
Document feedback during product development and manage action items throughout the project lifecycle.
Generate solution documentation and Power BI dashboards to support customer needs.
Conduct training sessions for Teksouth-developed products to enhance customer understanding and application.

Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Foundational knowledge in database development (e.g., Dataverse, MS Access, SQL).
Basic proficiency in at least one programming, functional, or query language (e.g., Power FX, SQL, DAX, VBA, Python).
Experience with two or more Power Platform technologies: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, or SharePoint.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with proficiency in complex functions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
Ability to earn the Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals Certification within 90 days of hire.
Preferred
Experience building Model-Driven Power Apps.
Knowledge of Dataverse and Power Automate (cloud flows, desktop flows, or business process flows).
Skills in business requirements gathering and analysis.
Experience with custom connectors for Power Apps and Power Automate.
Familiarity with software development (ASP.NET, Java) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Experience documenting solutions, processes, and creating checklists.
Familiarity with Tableau or Qlik.
Knowledge of DoD/Army financial management processes and data.
