The Business Marketing Group (BMG) team connects businesses with their customers on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger to help them grow their businesses through solutions like pages, advertising, messaging, commerce and more. We succeed when we help our customers grow their business leveraging our solutions. The Business Marketing Technology team is a vital component of the organization, operating at the intersection of business, technology, and operations. The Marketing Technology team aims to support all of Business Marketing with advanced technology, sales/product connectivity, and data-driven insights. The Head of Marketing Technology Platforms will help drive the advancement and execution of marketing technology transformation efforts. This leader will help evolve our platform capabilities by building and implementing a strategic product roadmap for our third and first party tools to ensure we meet our business needs. Our ideal candidate will have experience in marketing and technology and be able to articulate a technology vision in support of business needs. They will have the business savvy to identify and prioritize marketing use cases, privacy experience to ensure solutions are data privacy compliant and an understanding of B2B marketing strategies and how data can unlock opportunities for performance. They will be an inclusive team leader energized by helping a high-performing team have impact, develop and grow.
Head of Marketing Technology Platforms, Business Marketing Responsibilities:
Drive platform feature advancement and delivery of capabilities to support business use cases.
Manage a team of marketing technology managers working on specific platform components to build a cohesive ecosystem.
Ensure technology is implemented and adopted to drive maximum efficiencies and impact.
Lead execution of marketing technology projects and integrations end-to-end.
Source, prioritize and execute ideas that advanced our marketing products.
Drive change management and marketing technology education across the organization.
Work in a fast-paced, often ambiguous and cross-functional environment to do all of the above.
Minimum Qualifications:
10+ years experience with product management and marketing/advertising technology.
7+ years people leadership experience, including experience managing seasoned individual contributors.
Experience working directly with Marketing, Product, Engineering and Operations teams to provide business cases and requirements and deliver comprehensive business solutions powered by data and technology.
Experience launching or driving adoption of products, demonstrating knowledge of customer needs.
Experience with operational processes and issue management and resolution.
Experience with digital marketing channels (Email, Facebook Ads, Display, Onsite Merchandising, etc.).
Understanding of industry marketing technology tools, data flows and platform architecture and how marketing technology platforms support and enhance the customer experience.
Experience implementing large scale initiatives.
Experience building reference documentation and centralizing processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with business marketing.
Experience managing other people managers.
Experience working closely with privacy teams.
Quantitative analytical experience.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in digital marketing.
