Chief Financial Officer (CFO) , you will lead the financial operations of a growing

automotive group , with a focus on establishing

Central Data Quality (CDQ) practices , implementing centralized accounting processes, and building a shared services team. You will play a critical role in financial planning, strategic growth initiatives, and compliance across multiple business entities. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader who excels in creating streamlined financial processes, ensuring data quality, and optimizing financial performance in a group structure.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Financial LeadershipDrive the overall financial strategy and execution to support the group’s growth objectives.Collaborate with the executive team to provide financial insights for business decisions, mergers and acquisitions, and capital expenditures.Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.Central Data Quality (CDQ) ImplementationDevelop and implement a CDQ framework across the group to ensure high standards of data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.Oversee data standardization, data cleansing, and data governance initiatives to ensure reliable and accurate financial and customer data.Establish centralized data quality monitoring systems and regular audits to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards.Accounting Process Centralization and Shared Services DevelopmentLead the design and implementation of a centralized accounting function, enhancing the shared services model to streamline operations across business units.Standardize accounting practices, policies, and controls to enhance financial reporting accuracy and efficiency.Oversee daily accounting operations, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial schedules, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.Develop a scalable, shared services team that supports operational needs while preparing for the group’s continued growth.Financial Controls and ComplianceEstablish and enforce robust internal controls, financial policies, and accounting practices to safeguard the group’s assets and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Ensure the group’s compliance with relevant accounting standards (GAAP) and regulatory requirements.Oversee the preparation and filing of accurate and timely financial statements and reports, both for internal and external stakeholders.Operational Efficiency and Process ImprovementIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial reporting, accounting, and data management.Drive automation initiatives, particularly in data entry, financial reporting, and customer data management, to reduce manual intervention and increase accuracy.Develop and maintain operational metrics to track financial performance and productivity.Team Leadership and DevelopmentBuild, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team capable of supporting the group’s growth.Foster a collaborative team culture that promotes accountability, professional development, and continuous improvement.Oversee recruiting, training, and talent development to support the centralized accounting and shared services functions.Required QualificationsEducation : Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or CPA highly preferred.Experience : 10+ years of financial management experience, preferably with group-level exposure in the automotive or manufacturing sectors.CDQ Expertise : Proven experience in implementing Central Data Quality (CDQ) initiatives and data governance practices.Leadership : Strong leadership background with a track record of building and managing finance teams and shared services operations.Technical Skills : Proficiency in ERP systems, data quality monitoring tools, and financial software commonly used in the automotive industry.Compliance : Deep understanding of regulatory requirements, financial reporting standards (GAAP, IFRS), and internal controls.Key CompetenciesAnalytical Thinking : Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.Process-Oriented : Strong focus on process improvement, operational efficiency, and centralized financial practices.Communication : Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with executive leadership, board members, and external stakeholders.Adaptability : Capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapting to rapid growth and change.MUST HAVE QualificationsKnowledge of the automotive industry, including production, supply chain, and customer service operations.Familiarity with data quality tools and CDQ principles as they relate to financial reporting and compliance.Preferred QualificationsExperience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and/or capital restructuring.
