Job Description
Successful candidates will help build solutions that will be used operationally to support multiple internal teams who support our Government customers. This role will be focused on developing automation for on-prem or cloud use cases. The person filling this role will be responsible for understanding security and compliance requirements and applying those requirements to their work.
Design and Development: Develop and implement solutions involving both application and infrastructure resources including management, deployment, and monitoring of those resources where applicable.
Automation Tools: Develop, utilize and integrate various automation tools and frameworks to streamline cloud operations.
Scripting and Coding: Write and maintain scripts and code for automating cloud tasks using languages such as Python, Node.js, or PowerShell.
Cloud Services: Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to deploy and manage cloud resources.
CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor cloud environments to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. Implement automated solutions for proactive issue detection and resolution.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and security, to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud services.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for automated processes, configurations, and procedures.
Security and Compliance: Ensure that all automated solutions adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements.

Skills and Requirements
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud computing, software development, and automation.
Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS and Azure)
o IaC: Terraform/Ansible
o CI/CD: Jenkins/Github-actions/gitlab-ci
o Scripting languages (Python, Node.js, PowerShell)
o Low code, no code: lambda functions, azure function/logic apps
o Integration/API (Graph API / REST API)
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
