We are looking for an Assembler to join our second shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling component parts or pieces according to specified blueprints or schematics. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing safe, reliable operation of Eriez equipment that is designed to protect our customers and their clients.Responsibilities:Utilize specialized tools and fixtures, both electrical and mechanical, to complete assemblies.Apply basic electrical knowledge to connect power to electrical devices.Read and follow engineering drawings, assembly procedures, instruction manuals, and material/pick lists to ensure accurate assemblies.Operate and maintain tools, including but not limited to, hand tools, manual machine tools, torches, and drill presses.Stand, sit, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs as required.Able to assemble and charge basic magnetic circuits, and operate equipment like the ceramic saw.Complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner as directed by the supervisor.Learn to use Eriez labor and work order collection systems.Notify the supervisor of any faulty equipment or defective materials as they are discovered.RequirementsA high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, and perform basic shop math, including decimals and fractions.Experience in using epoxies and adhesives related to assembly applications is preferred.Experience in a general assembly role for more than 2 years or completion of specialized training.Knowledge of welding and the ability to operate a MIG welder is a plus.Willingness to work flexibly and maintain punctuality for shifts.Strong focus on quality assurance in all assembly tasks.Ability to work safely around powerful magnets and high-voltage equipment.Benefits401(k)Employer 401(k) matchingDental insuranceDisability insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursementVision insuranceHourly pay (starting from) : $19.19/hr.
