Estate Planning Partner
with a robust practice and a portable book of business valued at a minimum of $300,000. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of expertise in complex estate, tax, and wealth planning for high-net-worth individuals and families, demonstrating a profound understanding of legal intricacies and client needs.Key Responsibilities
Design and implement comprehensive estate plans, including the preparation of wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and powers of attorney.Advise and guide fiduciaries through the probate process and trust administration to ensure compliance and effective management.Prepare and review estate and gift tax returns, addressing complex reporting and valuation challenges.Assist clients in establishing private foundations and other charitable entities, facilitating their philanthropic goals.Provide strategic counsel on estate administration, income tax, transfer tax, and charitable planning, along with business succession planning and pass-through entity considerations.Maintain a deep understanding of federal and state tax laws to provide informed guidance and effective strategies for clients.Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of experience in trusts and estates law, with a strong emphasis on tax and wealth planning.A portable book of business of at least $300,000 is required.Admission to the Illinois Bar is mandatory.Skills
