Key Account Manager , you will represent and grow Lubrizol’s Medical Solutions business. Our market leader medical grade thermoplastic polyurethane product line is specified across the medical device industry for everything from disposable short term medical devices to life of patient implants.What You’ll Do:Execute strategies to serve and grow current business, gain competitive market share, and develop new opportunitiesIdentify, develop and penetrate new customers for growth of regionDevelop meaningful relationships within accounts to foster a partner relationship and gain access to new opportunitiesBe the voice of the customer with internal operations and business to ensure superior customer experienceNegotiate commercial points in supply agreementsCommunicate our value proposition and offerings to the customer to gain additional opportunitiesCoordinate resources across marketing, product, engineering, and operational organizations to ensure best-in-class fulfillment of customers’ needs and completion of customer projectsUnderstand market trends, customers’ strategies, customer business drivers and competitive landscape to better increase Lubrizol’s competitivenessHigh quality, consistent and timely CRM reporting per established guidelines and assigned KPI’s.Regularly use CRM to document new and update existing contacts, opportunities and project of statusCollaborate with customer on providing monthly sales forecasts for top customers in regionDeliver customer quotations and collaborate with pricing team as needed to ensure maximum margin and benefit to Lubrizol, including communications of price increasesDevelop a thorough understanding of technology, capabilities, applications and requirements of each of our manufacturing competenciesCreate a regular cadence for in-person customer visits/meetingsAttend/present at sales meetings, conferences, tradeshows or other meetings as neededSkills That Make A Difference:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university – Business or Technical10+ years of professional experience selling into the chemical or medical device industry, preferably experience enabling OEM specification of medical materials.Ability to travel domestically (30%+)Perks and Rewards That Inspire:Competitive salary with performance-based bonus plans401K Match plus Age Weighted Defined ContributionCompetitive medical, dental & vision offeringsReady for your next career step?
