As the President of the Chicago and Eau Claire Operating Companies, you will lead all aspects of the business-establishing and driving the vision, strategy and execution for sales operations, supply chain, talent engagement, logistics and safety. Overall responsibility for multiple P&L's, developing robust business plans to ensure profitable top and bottom-line growth targets.
Responsibilities:
Develops, executes, and communicates effective multi component business strategiesReview and assess the overall performance for the designated multi state territory and develop business plans that will ensure continued profitable top and bottom-line growthLeads with integrity, consistent and clear about ethical behavior and acts in compliance with code of conduct, emphasizing the importance for how we achieve results, trustworthy and transparentThrives in the face of change, brings others along the way by leveraging knowledge of change management principles to lead and execute change to meet various business needs; positive and optimistic when faced with challengesDrives excellence in warehouse and transportation fundamentals, leveraging operational efficiency in receiving, inventory control, selection, loading/unloading, staging and workforce planning to drive cost-effective customer focused operational performanceDrives growth by leveraging analytics, consumer and sales trends to convert opportunities into new business and same store sales wins.Maintain key customer relationships, develops and implements strategies for expanding the organizations customer baseReview reporting analytics and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions. Review operating results of the OpCo, compare them to established objectives, and take steps to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to correct unsatisfactory results. Review analysis of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine OpCo progress toward established goals and objectivesConstantly monitor the competitive landscape and market conditions to identify opportunities, issues, and risks in order to recommend strategies and organizational directionEstablishes operating policies consistent with Core-Mark/PFG's broad policies and objectives and ensures their execution. Provide guidance, advice, direction, and authorization to carry out major plans and procedures, consistent with established policies.Maintain sound public relations practices to improve the company's image and relationships with customers, associates, and the public. Promote and practice effective communication and adequate flow of information. Positively represents the organization with customers, associates, vendors, the financial community, and the public.The ideal candidate should possess:
Demonstrated track record of setting annual business plan objectives for multi-million-dollar operations, setting and achieving sales and operational excellence performance standards, especially in a tight margin environmentDemonstrated responsibility for management and oversight for large sales team engagement and performanceMulti-million-dollar P&L responsibilities for large distribution center operationsEarned a favorable reputation as an executive leader for whom employees want to work forLed and developed a team of direct and indirect reports of 300+ people
Required Qualifications
12+ years of progressive distribution center leadership experience with experience in a director-level or above role
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree is preferred
Previous experience in foodservice, CPG, retail or c-store distribution is preferred.
Previous sales leadership experience is preferred.
