As a Senior Subcontracts Administrator in the area of Cary/Holly Springs, NC, you will too. You’ll lead the coordination of all activities associated with subcontracting of services for multiple projects - big and small. We'll rely on to guide the subcontracting activities for small projects, working on professional or technical service assignments, and major or complex construction services on larger projects. With your expertise, you’ll provide guidance to project personnel on subcontracting issues, working closely with Engineering, Construction, and all other disciplines. You'll be accountable for the prequalification of bidders, solicitation of proposals, proposal evaluations, source selection recommendations, development of negotiation strategies, leads negotiation of contract terms and pricing issues, conformance and finalizing of agreements, and subcontract issuance and execution. By driving collaboration and inclusion across Federal projects, you’ll help your dynamic team achieve the clients’ goals.

• Bachelor’s degree in a business, construction, supply chain, or operations management, or equivalent project experience in lieu of degree
• 10+ years of experience in subcontracting and contract management, with specific experience in working on medium to large projects in the EPCM Industry.
• 3+ years of experience in Biopharmaceutical/Life Science Manufacturing Projects preferred
• Management of critical subcontract packages along with the potential oversight of junior to mid-level Subcontract Administrators.
• The ability to lead a small team of Subcontracts professionals, including providing day-to-day training, teaching and mentoring.
Ideally you'll have:
• Masters degree in a business, construction, supply chain, or operations management, but not required
• Experience in subcontracting for pharmaceutical plants
• Certification from the National Contract Management Association (or other international equivalent) is a plus
• Registered as CPCM, CCCM,or CCFM would be nice
• Experience using MS Office tools, including intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work and thrive in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• A drive to solve complex and challenging problems.
• Willingness to indirectly lead and mentor a team of Subcontract Administration professionals
