Position Overview
Infinity Systems Engineering is seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager (PM) to lead the execution of the Space Systems and Hardware Integration for Novel Space Experiments (SSHINE) program in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at Kirtland Air Force Base. The primary responsibilities of this role are managing subcontract execution, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, leading assigned personnel, and advancing Infinity’s strategic objectives. As a key member of the Infinity management team, this position will also serve as a primary leader for Infinity’s continued expansion in the growing Albuquerque aerospace and defense market.
This position is suited for mid- to advanced-career candidates and beyond.

Primary Responsibilities
Program Oversight & Execution
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk management
Lead project teams to execute tasks, meet milestones, and deliver high-quality outcomes
Ensure conformance with program schedules and costs; develop budgets and associated control plans for assigned programs
Prepare for, attend, and brief during PM-related meetings such as Infinity Program Management Reviews (PMRs)
Leadership & Team Development
Hire and maintain a skilled workforce capable of meeting the requirements of assigned work activities on varying programs
Mentor, guide, and lead project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment by setting expectations, monitoring progress, and providing coaching and development opportunities
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to staff, assisting them with navigating through the Infinity Career Progression Framework
Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
Ensure clear and continuous communication regarding project status, changes, and risk mitigation
Oversee contract requirements and serve as a point of contact within the management team, updating customers regarding contract progress
Forge positive relationships with customers, partners and employees; meet regularly with customers/stakeholders to formulate and review task plans and deliverables
Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure compliance with DoD regulations, standards, and security requirements
Develop and implement quality assurance protocols and metrics
Manage quality control of contract deliverables as required per contract
Ensure compliance with program schedules, budgets, and US Government requirements
Risk Management
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
Monitor potential issues and adjust project plans as necessary to avoid disruptions
Budget & Resource Management
Manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure cost-efficiency
Allocate resources effectively and track project performance against established metrics
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in program or leadership experience, preferably within the DoD industry
Experience with DoD space missions and programs
Experience managing/leading engineering and technical personnel
Strong project management and organizational skills
Excellent leadership and team-building abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
Strong knowledge of DoD regulations, FAR/DFARS compliance, and contracting processes
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or equivalent
Experience with program cost controls/Earned Value Management (EVM) and the ability to integrate cost, schedule, and scope to drive exceptional program performance
Experience supporting business development initiatives, including developing technical and cost elements for submission to customers
Program Management Professional certification equivalent to Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act Level 3 Program Manager Certification, or demonstration of continued education, preferred.
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field from a regionally accredited institution; Master’s degree preferred.
