Job SummaryThe Director of Finance is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen and leadership skills to ensure the company’s financial health and compliance with regulatory standards. The Director of Finance will lead a team of finance professionals, manage financial planning and analysis, and contribute to the overall strategic direction of the organization.DutiesDevelop and implement financial strategies that align with the organization's goals.Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.Conduct risk analysis to identify potential financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards (IAS).Manage corporate finance activities including capital structure and funding strategies.Supervise accrual accounting processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.Interpret financial reports to provide insights for decision-making to senior management.Lead cost management initiatives to optimize operational efficiency and profitability.Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance team through training and development.RequirementsProven experience in a senior finance role, preferably as a Director or similar capacity.Strong understanding of financial principles, including public accounting and corporate finance.Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.Proficient in risk analysis methodologies and compliance management practices.Demonstrated expertise in accrual accounting and financial report interpretation.Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex financial information to stakeholders.A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA or CFA are preferred.This role is essential for driving the financial success of our organization while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
