In addition to its audio entertainment businesses, SiriusXM offers connected vehicle services to automakers.How you'll make an impact:We are looking for a full stack engineer to join the Content Management and Programming Tools team, which builds intuitive tools and services that empower users to enrich, manage, tag, and curate content and entities programmatically. Specifically, you will work directly on creating new tools for the SiriusXM platform, and create and maintain design components and UI framework that supports those efforts.What you'll do:Design and write code to support highly scalable tools and servicesCreate and maintain design UI frameworks and design libraries that are highly reusableCollaborate with product and design to define featuresWrite automated unit and integration testsDeploy services into the various environments in the cloudCollaborate with other team membersWhat you'll need:2+ years of experience developing Java services2+ years of experience developing web applicationsAbility to design, develop, test and deploy web applications using common standards and frameworksExperience with web-based API design and development (e.g., GraphQL, REST)Experience with SQL databases like Postgres, and NoSQL datastores such as RedisExperience with Amazon AWSExperience building stream processing systems on KafkaExperience developing for Linux-based deployment platformsExperience with writing automated testsExperience with modern FE frameworks, and component architectureGood public speaking and presentation skillsInterpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levelsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAbility to pay attention to details and be organizedAbility to project professionalism over the phone and in personCommitment to "internal client" and customer service principlesWillingness to take initiative and to follow through on projectsMust have legal right to work in the U.SAt SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the salary range for this position to be $135,000 - $145,000, and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives.
