As part of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), you’ll work with talented associates to provide oversight and guidance for our enterprise change governance program to ensure our businesses effectively manage risk and deliver programs in a well managed way.
The Enterprise Change and Risk Governance Team is responsible for defining our enterprise-wide approach to managing the risks associated with change, and with maintaining the standards, processes and procedures that ensure the largest, most critical programs across first and second line divisions are well managed. We partner with first and second line risk managers and Accountable Executives to ensure change governance requirements are embedded into program frameworks and monitor to ensure continued adherence to those requirements. We consult with, advise and prepare program leaders to deliver their best products.
We are seeking a dedicated, disciplined, leader who excels in a team environment. This individual will have experience in Change and Risk management, improving processes, leading teams, identifying with the perspective of our customers, and be able to connect the regulatory environment to processes. This individual must be able to effectively communicate and influence partners across the company and across multiple levels of the organization. Strong problem solving and analytical skills, attention to detail, process/project management capability, and results driven are essential to succeeding in this role.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Lead our Enterprise Change Governance program and a team of 3-5 associates, including day to day management of operations
Identify strategic objectives and and drive opportunities to enhance the change governance program, metrics, and reporting
Partner with 1st and 2nd line business areas to ensure appropriate local execution of the program requirements
Monitor the performance of the overall program, including quality assurance activities, against quantitative and qualitative metrics
Actively support internal and external audits and exams
Foster an environment of trust, collaboration & belonging while leading a team of risk managers
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 8 years of experience in risk, compliance, legal or audit
At least 5 years of experience in project or process management
At least 5 years experience in people management
At least 2 years experience in operations management
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or Project Management
6+ years of experience as a project or process management within the financial services industry
Six Sigma Lean, Green Belt or Black Belt certification, Agile Coach certification, Compliance Certification (CRCM)
