Our client is looking for a Director of Investor Relations. You'll be working directly with the EVP of Strategic Finance as part of a high-impact and fast-paced team. You will represent the company to institutional investors and the broader financial community. You will also help provide insights to the company's management team based on analysis and understanding of industry and ecosystem developments, equity research reports, capital markets activity, and broader economic trends. This position is highly influential with both external and internal stakeholders, including C-suite.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $210,000-$230,000. Our salary is to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, locations and other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data. In addition to salary, this position may be eligible for commissions, bonus, equity and benefits.
WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?
Effectively articulate the company's financial performance, technology roadmap, vision and strategy in order to provide appropriate transparency and positioning in the market.Build and develop strong relationships within the investor community and maintain open, two-way lines of communication.Educate and update investors and analysts by creating balanced and consistent investment messaging in partnership with the appropriate senior leadership.Be highly responsive to, and proactively get in touch with, existing and prospective investors, including phone calls, in-person meetings, non-deal roadshows, analyst days and conferences.Oversee and manage the quarterly earnings process, including developing key themes and issues to be presented, working closely with the executive staff to communicate strategies, drafting conference call scripts, shareholder letter, decks and Q&A materials.Partner with corporate communications, financial reporting, marketing, legal and executive team members on developing consistent, accurate messaging across constituencies.Track and provide insights to the executive team on key developments in the company's ecosystem.Requirements
7+ overall years of experience in sell-side equity research or corporate IR function with a focus on technologyDeep knowledge of Internet enabled marketplaces is preferredStrong analytical skills, including financial modeling and valuation analysisExcellent interpersonal skills, including both written and verbal communications, at an executive levelSelf-starter with a mindset of passion and growth, and a willingness to do anything and everythingStrong team player who can thrive in a fast-paced work environment, often on multiple projects across different functional groups.Ability to be highly responsive in early mornings to accommodate market hours and European time zones
