AdeptHR is hiring for immediate Jockey Operator / 'Yard Jockey' Openings!
A jockey operator, also known as a yard jockey, is a driver who moves trailers around the warehouse. Their responsibilities include:Trailer movement: moving trailers to and from loading docks, and or other locationsTrailer organization: organizing trailers for loading, unloading etc.Shipping documentation: Maintaining shipping documents, filling out delivery forms, and verifying shipping documentsCommunication: Communicating with the gate, dock office, and managementYard upkeep: Keeping the yard organized and performing yard checksForklift operation: May operate a forklift to load or unload trailersStarting pay of $18 per hour, with room for growth and overtime opportunities!Requirements12 months of previous jockey operator experienceValid MVRValid Drivers’ licenseWillingness to submit to a drug screen in accordance with our policyWillingness to release background information inclusive of criminal recordsWillingness to assist in the warehouse if need be: loading, unloadingBenefitsOvertimePermanent Opportunities
