You will work in collaboration with our California Market Growth Director, Director of Operations, and Ports & Maritime Leadership to develop and implement a Ports & Maritime strategy for California. In this role, youll drive client outreach strategies and relationship development actions, identify key pursuits and lead positioning and delivery efforts. Working with other members of the team, youll share in the development and growth of our internal structure which promotes autonomy and allows for great opportunities to deliver local projects across the Transportation platform while also supporting our other infrastructure markets in California. You will also be responsible for understanding the unique trends in the market and using that knowledge to work with our team to create technical differentiation from that of our competitors while serving as an important conduit between our National Market Solution (technology) Leaders, California Sales Leaders, and our operations (delivery) leadership and practice staff in our Transportation Business Unit. Your knowledge of the Transportation market will include Port authorities, local governments, decision makers, key stakeholders, and short- and long-range capital improvement plans which will be key to your success. Location: Hybrid - two to three days a week in either the Irvine, California or Los Angeles, California office. You'll have the ability to work from home, providing you the opportunity to develop your own flexible schedule and achieve your desired work-life balance. You will be fully supported by regional and national IT teams to establish a functioning home office. You'll integrate with our local teams who are committed to growing our professional services portfolio in CA. You'll build upon your understanding of the Transportation Market and organize and develop teams to pursue consulting & advisory, planning, design, PMCM, and alternative delivery work. You'll lead client service teams for existing and new clients across the State of California, helping develop and implement our broader Transportation market growth strategy through direct, in-person and virtual interactions with client organizations. You will lead or support building strategic win-win relationships with other consulting firms and contractors as partners. The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries in their perspective geocodes for the position, across all listed California locations. BA or BS degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Marketing or related discipline. At least 15 years of progressive experience in capital improvements with a specialty in Transportation projects, and a particular emphasis on Ports & Maritime. At least 10 years of management experience; developing and leading procurement teams. Experience developing strategies for growth including brand development; and a successful track record of guiding proposals to a successful outcome.
