Azure Engineer

Overview:

This Azure Engineer role requires a strong background in

Azure

and

DevOps

to support an enterprise-level initiative focused heavily on deploying and managing cloud-based workloads. The ideal candidate will have expert-level experience in

Azure CloudOps , with specific strengths in

speed of delivery

and efficient management of services handed off to internal teams. This role is part of a newly restructured team focused solely on cloud infrastructure, emphasizing automation, quick deployment, and security.Primary Responsibilities:

Deploy, manage, and maintain Azure-based workloads with a focus on

PaaS

and

IaaS

services.Manage and configure resources using

Ansible ,

Terraform ,

PowerShell , and

PowerShell DSC .Oversee

SQL as a Service ,

storage accounts , and

infrastructure management

in Azure.Build, deploy, and validate code using

Azure Pipeline ,

GitHub , and

containerization .Automate platform processes and code build-outs post-deployment.Utilize

Azure Key Vault

for password and secret management, including scripting for automation across services.Implement

Azure Site Recovery (AZR)

and lead on-premises to Azure migrations.Required Experience:

Expert knowledge in

Azure

and

CloudOps .Demonstrated ability in

configuration management

and

cloud infrastructure automation .Familiarity with

site reliability engineering principles

and

Azure DevOps

tools.Proficient in

App Services

and experience in managing

software lifecycle processes : spin up systems, compile, test, run code, destroy, and repeat.Experience with

security platforms

like Secret Server; however, this is not a SecOps role.Ideal Candidate:

Must excel in quick, efficient problem-solving, particularly in deployment and service management.Demonstrates a deep understanding of

enterprise-scale

cloud operations and can work autonomously within a restructured cloud-focused team.
