Performs production reviews to ensure high level of quality before releasing product. As necessary, assembles MitraClip device subassemblies and finished goods in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures. Performs a wide variety of assembly operations including heavy microscopy use, soldering, complex gluing operations, fusing of materials, precise loading/alignment of components, and numerous inspections in accordance with complex manufacturing process instructions.What You’ll Work OnUnderstands requirements related to unplanned events and equipment issuesAble to navigate resources as needed to remediate compliance issuesDemonstrates complete understanding of procedures within functional groupUnderstands when issues need to be elevated to quality engineeringAble to communicate Abbott Quality PolicyIdentify potential Quality System gaps, communicate to Engineering, and remediate as appropriateShows good decision-making skillsShows consideration of options and use of tools with some direction. E.g. data analysis, lessons learnedReceptive to constructive feedback and learns from mistakesCommunicates Safety concerns to CER LeadershipEnsures Daily Schedule has operators rotate stations every 4 hoursDesignates a daily Stretch Lead and ensures consistency and adherence among line membersUnderstands or seeks out task priorities and complete tasks on schedule with minimal Supervisor guidanceIdentifies opportunities for improvement and documents request appropriately (CO/BM Tracker etc.)Advocates improvement and collaborates with other functional groupsDocuments vacation requests in Vacation/OOO HC trackerUnderstands OOO requirements on line (i.e. 2 or less HC OOO per line on a given shift).Able to interface among groups efficiently with Supervisor guidance. Knows “who is who”, where to go, how to present the proposed changes and get buy-in from other groupsAchieves standard work for a minimum of 7-8 stationsDocuments issues on DBTH trackerDocuments information on hourly tracking forms for LeadTakes initiative of WIP management of lineOperates independently with minimal oversightCreates eLHR traveler as neededRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma / GEDMinimum 4 years overall and industry-specific experience needed.* Participants who complete a short wellness assessment qualify for FREE coverage in our HIP PPO medical plan.
