CE offers a competitive total pay (plus bonus on sales incentives) and benefits package inclusive of health, dental, vision, life insurance and 401(k).Carrier Enterprise currently has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Director of Commercial Sales in our Richmond, VA location.SummaryIn this role you will be responsible for managing the region’s commercial business and a team of outside salespeople that generate HVAC equipment and parts sales to mechanical contractors, owners, and select residential replacement dealers. You will also manage commercial sales coordinators and a team of inside sales engineers that establish new accounts, maintain existing accounts, create/manage quotes, and orders, and introduce new products and drive sales programs. Some overnight travel within the Mid-Atlantic region will be required. This position provides growth opportunities for future advancement within various parts of the business and reports to the VP of Sales.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Accomplishes objectives by supervising staff, organizes, assigns and monitors work processesBuilds commercial team by recruiting, selecting and employee developmentPlans, monitors, and appraises job resultsUses business software tools to uncover prospectsImplements and manages sales programs and promosWorks with Carrier’s regional manager on marketing budget and inventoryWorks with CE Mid-Atlantic’s leadership team to grow the commercial business segmentWorks with engineering community, where applicable, to drive specificationsConducts training, job appraisals, recruiting and hiringManages Region Commercial Sales Engineer Trainee ProgramRequirementsQualifications:Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsSupervisory skills and leadership mindsetDesire to work in a fast-paced team environment with a focus on growthYou must be creative, self-motivated, tenacious, ambitious and enthusiasticYou must possess a strong interest in business expansionKnowledge/experience in the HVAC industry and/or distributionEducation Requirements4-Year Degree or 6 continuous years of relevant HVAC industry work experienceFull-time and Part-time positions are available.
