Job description:We are looking to hire an expert who is passionate about virtualization and cloud computing technologies in leading Virtualization Management.
Key responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage VMware vSphere, vCenter, and related infrastructure in a private cloud environment.
Configure and optimize VMware environments for performance, scalability, and security.
Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
Automate VM provisioning using VMware vRealize Automation (vRA) or other tools.
Integrate VMware APIs with other systems (e.g., ITSM, CMDB) for streamlined workflows.
Develop scripts for automated tasks using PowerShell, Python, or other languages.
Collaborate with automation team to implement efficient workflows and integrations.
Extract data from vCenter and other VMware tools for capacity planning, performance monitoring, and optimization.
Develop dashboards and reports using VMware vRealize Operations (vROps) or other tools.
Analyze data to identify trends, optimize resource utilization, and improve overall infrastructure efficiency.
Required Skills:
5+ years of experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter, and related technologies.
Expertise in VMware automation tools (e.g., vRA, PowerCLI, VCD).
Strong understanding of API integrations (e.g., REST, SOAP).
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
Experience with private cloud infrastructure and management.
Good to have:
VMware VCP-DCV or higher certification.
Experience with cloud management platforms (e.g., OpenStack, AWS).
Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
