OVERVIEW:The Project Facilitator reports to the Divisional Property & Contracts Director and is the first point of contact for all property projects and contracting requirements. The Project Facilitator coordinates all facets of work required to move a project or contract from inception to completion ensuring that all timelines and objectives are realized.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Review and process property and non-property related projects and contracts for assigned Corps.Provide a comprehensive instruction package to field officers.Assist field officers in the initiation phase of capital projects to determine the scope of work.Build the initial file structures to house all materials related to each project.Enter the project into the GS project tracking system.Guide field units in the areas of contract submission and compliance.Receive and review all invoices related to open projects.Act as a resource to field officers providing insight and recommendations for their projects.Discuss each project plan with field officers.Review Contract Information Sheets.Ensure compliance of all contracts with The Salvation Army policies and procedures.Assist in negotiating and resolving all contract issues.Receive, review, and compile all checklist documents pertaining to each project.Ensure that all project packages are complete, in sequential order, and ready for CFC review.Work with THQ Legal to ensure the division meets standards in contract compliance.Notify appropriate field and THQ personnel of the status of each project.Other related duties as required.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or equivalent (required).Experience with Microsoft Office programs (required).Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or equivalent (preferred).Experience in project management (preferred).SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Ability to work independently and with a minimum of supervision.Ability to maintain confidentiality.Team player.Great communication skills.EQUIPMENT USED:Modern Office Equipment and Relevant Software.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
