Our rapid growth and breadth of accounts translates into exciting opportunities for our people!Job Summary:Compass Group has a new business development position available to grow the Bon Appetit Management Company brand within the higher education market. This professional, top performer will be an organized self-starter, who loves to hunt for new opportunities and is able to work independently. This is a strategic, high-level, high-integrity individual contributor role that builds strong relationships and directs the sales process in collaboration with our operating partners and support teams.As the Regional Sales Director for Bon Appetit, you report to the Senior Vice President of Sales at Compass Group and are responsible for profitable market growth through new opportunities for Bon Appetit within the Higher Education market. Selling the premier brand Bon Appetit, the candidate will be based in a major metropolitan city within the Northeast but with a national territory.We offer a base salary and commission that provide you earning potential of $200-250K. Build strategic relationships in a 12+ month, complex sales processCold call, prospect, network and develop new and existing marketsCommunicate effectively in various formats (written and oral) with key stakeholdersDevelop winning sales proposals and respond to complex RFPs in collaboration with our operating partners and proposal development resourcesIdentify necessary support resources to successfully close new businessLearn and follow the Compass Sales ProcessExceed annual new business target/quotaThis position entails up to 65% travel within the territoryQualifications:
