The Institution Business Development team within the LPL Business Strategy & Growth attracts institutions – including financial institutions (banks and credit unions) and financial product manufacturers (insurance firms and asset managers) – to the firm.The Vice President, Institution Strategy & Enablement is a key role within the LPL Business Strategy & Growth team, responsible for leading sales strategy, sales enablement, and data intelligence functions with a specific focus on national and regional banks (NRB). This role involves providing strategic insights and recommendations to senior leaders within LPL, optimizing sales processes, customizing engagement strategies, and developing executive-level content to attract new business to the firm.Responsibilities:
Streamline sales pipeline processes, reporting, forecasting, and KPI trackingDeliver data-driven insights and recommendations to business development officers (BDOs) to enable pipeline feeding and management, and to enhance prospect engagementProvide BDOs with the content, playbooks, and other tools necessary to sell more effectivelyEquip the organization with data and insights to support better decision makingServe as the primary NRB partner to Corporate Strategy, Finance, Marketing, and Relationship Management teamsCustomize engagement strategies for prioritized opportunitiesCoach and develop team members on technical and business skillsWhat are we looking for?

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or Liberal Arts7+ years of experience, with 5+ in financial services, banking, strategy, or consultingReside in or open to relocate to San Diego, CA or Charlotte, NC metro areaCore Competencies:
Strong communication skills, with ability to adapt to different audiences and influence decisionsExceptional analytical skills, leveraging data to deliver actionable insightsPositive attitude and desire to be part of an entrepreneurial teamPreferences:
Master of Business Administration (MBA) degreeRobust understanding of the financial intermediation space (specifically: banking)Prior experience in building and empowering highly effective teamsPay Range:
$155,300.00 - $258,800.00Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
