This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Manufacturing Engineering, Integrated Supply Chain, and Test Operations. As a Senior Executive Assistant supporting the Operations business, you’ll provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of an office, location, division, or team, helping coordinate business priorities and cadences. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and dedication to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Executive support - Work closely and effectively with senior management to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately. Exercise good judgment while maintaining a realistic balance among multiple priorities.
Calendar - Manage an extremely active calendar of appointments. Plan, coordinate, and ensure the schedule is followed and respected.
Travel - Arrange complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; compile documents for travel-related meetings.
Writing & Editing - Compose and prepare draft documents and correspondence that are sometimes confidential.
Tasks - Successfully complete tasks and critical aspects of deliverables.
Projects - Work independently on projects, from conception to completion, under pressure at times, handling a wide variety of activities and confidentiality with discretion.
Organization – Using strong organizational skills, perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
Personnel – Using strong interpersonal skills, build relationships with stakeholders.
Problem Solving - Demonstrate proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong work tenure: 5 -7 years of experience supporting senior level executives.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
Strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and high customer service capabilities.
Administrative skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills.
Emotional maturity; positive, low-stress behavior, in words and actions.
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Desired:
Bachelor’s degree.
Aerospace environment experience.
Technical or manufacturing environment experience.
Compensation Range for WA applicants is $41.76-$58.46. Other site ranges may differ.
