Job Description

Major Duties:The Vice President of Sales and Marketing is a pivotal role within the ATS Industrial Automation leadership team, responsible for driving the segments commercial strategy and execution. The Vice President of Sales & Marketing is a strategic leader responsible for optimizing and standardizing commercial processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness across the organization. This role will spearhead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of commercial operations, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth objectives.Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to the strategic planning and execution of marketing, commercial, operational, and organizational strategies.Build and lead a diverse, high-performing team dedicated to marketing, sales and commercial excellence; foster a collaborative culture that aligns with company values.Develop and implement robust Sales business planning, forecasting, performance monitoring, and management capabilities to effectively steer the business towards its Sales goals.Develop best-in-class digital and omni-channel marketing capabilities, leveraging data and insights to optimize the promotional mix and maximize ROI.Deploy essential sales capabilities, including but not limited to CRM/Dashboards, Reporting, Forecasting, Account Planning, Daily Visual Management, and Sales Incentive Compensation.Drive the standardization of commercial processes to ensure consistency and best practices across all sales leaders.Champion a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging feedback and innovation in process optimization.Monitor and report on the performance of commercial processes, making data-driven decisions to refine and evolve strategies.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.Proven track record in process improvement and commercial operations within a complex, fast-paced environment.Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across the organization.Expertise in process design, workflow analysis, and operational excellence methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering measurable results.Advanced understanding of commercial technologies and systems that support process automation and optimization.Join our globally growing team at ATS Industrial Automation where we create complex automation solutions at the highest level that sustainably impact lives around the world.
