Overview
Join a rapidly growing team in the renewable energy sector! We are looking for experienced Solar Installers or small installation teams to handle overflow work from our primary crews. Our projects are primarily residential installations, ranging from 10kW to 30kW systems. This is subcontractor work, paid per project. The ideal candidate will have prior experience, an understanding of electrical systems, and the ability to form a crew. Electrical licensing is preferred to streamline inspections.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble, install, and commission solar systems (panels, inverters, batteries) on rooftops or ground-mount structures.
Handle connections to electrical systems and assist in wiring and system layout based on engineering specifications.
Perform system commissioning, ensuring functionality and adherence to safety and code requirements.
Troubleshoot and repair systems when necessary to ensure optimal operation.
Ensure quality and safety standards are met on every job site.
Work closely with our team to meet project deadlines.
System Types
Inverters: Enphase, Hoymiles, SolarEdge, EG4
Batteries: Franklin, Tesla, Enphase, Panasonic, EG4
Qualifications
Prior solar installation experience, including hands-on knowledge of PV systems, inverters, and battery commissioning.
Ability to have a team ready to assist with projects.
Preferred: Electrical license for the crew lead (to ensure smooth inspection processes).
Comfortable with the installation of various system components (panels, racking, disconnects, etc.).
Strong understanding of safety standards, NEC codes, and electrical wiring.
Reliable transportation and ability to work on different job sites and in different nearby cities.

Panels, inverters, racking, AC disconnects, Soladecks, trunk cables, and flashing (Bill of Materials).

Compensation
Pay Rate: Based on system size
Payment Schedule: 80% paid upon installation and commissioning, 20% upon passing inspection.
Requirements
Electrical license (for someone on the crew)
Driver’s license and social security
Ability to share past project photos and examples of your work
Comfortable with sub-contractor terms and conditions
