Litigation Special Counsel - Tampa

Foley & Lardner LLP, Tampa, Florida, us, 33646

Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking an attorney with 2 to 5 years of litigation experience to join the Litigation Department in our Tampa office as Special Counsel. This is a full-time, non-partner track position supporting our Construction Practice Group. Our ideal candidate will have very strong legal research and writing skills and will have conducted discovery, drafted motions, argued one or more motions in court, have some deposition experience, and some trial experience. Experience in mediation, arbitration, and litigation of insurance claims, construction and design defect claims, and related matters is strongly preferred. Proven track record in settling cases. Strong organizational and time management skills required. Prior experience managing a team of paralegals and support staff is beneficial.

We are seeking highly motivated attorneys who are eager to learn and gain valuable experience while supporting attorneys in our Tampa office. To be considered, candidates must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and be in good standing and an active member of the Florida Bar. Interested applicants should submit a resume, law school transcript, and a writing sample.

Current judicial clerks need to apply directly and may not be submitted by a legal recruiter.
