Our holistic approach delivers key results for our customers by achieving cloud-driven modernization and workplace and operational transformation to run the business in a secure environment.Job Description:15+ years of industry experience and 10+ years' experience working on VMware technologies.Gather and analyze customer business and technical requirements and guide the customer on best-practice configurations to create high-level and low-level designs.Take full ownership of customer technical architecture, lead consultant(s), and take responsibility for all project deliverables.Create test plans to validate deployment processes aligned to customer use-cases, and create launch and operations plans to increase user adoption and consumption.Work directly with customers to transfer knowledge of their environment, either by partnering with key customer stakeholders or by presenting to small groups.End-to-end technical governance of the project; identify and work with the Project Manager to manage commercial, cost, schedule, operational, and scope risks, with possible mitigation(s).Manage customer expectations and work with Project Managers to input to project plans with realistic timelines. Partner with the project manager on project budget, resource planning, and all aspects of efficient project delivery.Manage customer and internal escalations; collaborate with VMware support and engineering teams as needed to resolve product and customer issues.Interact with various customers' teams, from technical engineers and system administrators to business leaders and executives.Technical Skillset:
VCF - Virtual Cloud Foundation, VMware Architect, VMware Avi, VCF stack solution design, VMware Avi Implementation, VMware NSX - T Implementation, F5 and CheckPoint migration and implementation, VCAP - DCV, VCAP - CMA.Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $150,000 - $160,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.Benefits:
