Position Summary
The Global Supply Planner will be responsible for managing and controlling a portfolio of products from forecast and demand planning to plant output, ensuring alignment with commercial, financial, and operational plans.
Reporting to the Global Supply Planning Manager, the role will maintain strong linkages with manufacturing sites, sourcing teams, and Business Units. Key responsibilities include partnering with Business Unit Leadership and the Demand Planning organization to translate commercial objectives into actionable plans for manufacturing and sourcing teams.
The Global Supply Planner will collaborate with manufacturing sites to develop a scalable and adaptive supply fulfillment model that anticipates future business needs and ensures that global demand is planned and supported across regions.
Principal Responsibilities
• Continuous Improvement - Demonstrates initiative and critical thinking to identify, prioritize both process and performance gaps. Develops solutions and leads the team to deliver improving results.

• Manage Global Demand and Supply to minimize back orders, position Inventories at agreed levels, and reach targeted customer service Levels.
• Coordinate supply reviews as part of S&OP process across multiple manufacturing and sourcing locations to provide supply commit to commercial demand plan.
• Be integral part of S&OP monthly cycle reviews, act as single voice for global operations to commercial business unit leaders in supply commit.
• Provide a closed loop connection between marketing/sales stated demand, manufacturing capacity/build plans, and the total revenue plan.
• Communicate with the Business Units/Regions on supply issues and manufacturing plans.
• Analyze and ensure that potential constraints to supply are proactively managed to ensure continuity of supply.
• Lead weekly operations review across functions where supply is constrained and provide guidance to site planning teams on priorities.
• Keep system health and hygiene up to date.
• Driving an inclusive approach to problem solving and engaging widely within the business.
• Provide input of manufacturing initiatives to support sales strategies.
• Support of site manufacturing transfers as required.
• Participate in new product launch meetings and new product forecasts.
• Ensure smooth and successful new production introduction, together with the Engineering/NPI departments.

• Global Operations Team including Supply Planning, Inter-Company, Procurement, Engineering, Customer Service, Inventory, Quality, Regulatory

Education / Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, MBA desirable, or APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP). In lieu of a degree, 10 or more years of relevant experience in a related position may suffice.
• A minimum of 6+ years in Supply Planning, Materials Management, Master Scheduling, or Supply Chain Operations.
• Strong understanding and knowledge of supply chain processes, and planning principles.
• ERP / Planning Systems knowledge (SAP/APO/HANA a plus).
• International experience working cross borders and cross-function.
• Experience in leading projects throughout a wide function/ region.
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
• Ability to partner with and influence others without direct authority; build consensus and look for collaboration with people from different departments and all levels.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to influence cross-functionally between senior leaders and external partners.
• Proactive approach.
• Ability to drive continuous process improvements
• Proficient user of MS Office, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
• Attention to detail and accuracy – essential
• Ability to work well under deadlines and pressure
• Problem-solving skills for developing creative solutions and meeting objectives are required.
