ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Senior Vice President of Marketing to lead our charge into the hearts (and wallets) of our customers. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong focus on paid marketing, retention communications, and social media, as well as a solid foundation in data analysis. If you thrive on creativity, love crunching numbers, and can make a killer campaign out of thin air, this role is for you!
RESPONSIBILITIES
LEADERSHIP
Lead by example by consistently living into goodr's values of Fun and Authenticity.
Be a culture carrier by leaning into our three fundamentals of communication, professionalism, and vision.
Hold monthly one-on-ones with each team member to build upon their role duties and hold everyone accountable.
Ask clear questions, increase everyone's knowledge, and empower the team.
Give consistent, continuous feedback and challenge your flock to perpetually grow.
Own your department's budget and ensure its accuracy.
Use imagination and wisdom to set team goals and communicate them clearly.
Challenge the status quo ALWAYS.
ROLE SPECIFIC
Develop and implement strategic long-term marketing plans that align with the company's business objectives.
Lead our direct to consumer marketing department with oversight over our Media, Social Media, Comms/SMS, and Sports Marketing & Partnership teams.
Utilize data analysis to drive decision-making and optimize marketing strategies.
Monitor performance metrics and consumer insights to inform ongoing initiatives.
Oversee brand development and positioning to ensure a consistent brand message across all channels.
Working cross-functionally to ensure synergy across Consumer and Retail marketing teams.
Design and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that effectively engage target audiences.
Evaluate and improve operational processes and policies.
Monitor, scrutinize, and improve marketing campaigns.
Guide the brand positioning by developing comprehensive global marketing strategies.
Ensure marketing strategies align with the brand's vision and ethos.
Develop growth opportunities and encourage your team to do the same.
Oversee marketing initiatives' financial performance, ensuring alignment with marketing goals and KPIs.
This role is in the Marketing Department and will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
10+ years experience in senior brand and consumer marketing roles in CPG industry.
Extensive experience in paid media, comms, social, sports, and cross-functional marketing.
Experience in leading a marketing department is a MUST.
Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
Freakin' awesome communicator and direction giver.
Proven track record of developing and executing marketing strategies that drive growth.
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
Is proactive and an independent problem solver.
