You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, performance, and security of network infrastructure.Duties and Responsibilities

(included but not limited to):Designing, implementing, and maintaining data networks, including LANs, WANs, and other network infrastructureMonitoring network performance and troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal network operation and minimal downtimeConfiguring and managing network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancersCollaborating with network architects and other teams to plan and implement network upgrades and expansionsManaging network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and policiesConducting regular network audits and assessments to ensure compliance with security standards and best practicesProviding technical support and training to other Network staff and end users as necessaryOther duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:Minimum Years Experience: 2 - 4 YrsMinimum Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceEmbody and demonstrate our company values: Foster Trust, Effective Communication, Customer Centricity, Own It, Win Together.Proven experience in network engineering and data operations, including hands-on experience with network protocols, technologies, and toolsStrong knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and network securityExperience with troubleshooting and configuration management of Juniper Routers and Firewalls in a service provider environment.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detail and a commitment to continuous learning and professional developmentExperience with network standards and golden configurationsExperience with vendor management and vendor software upgrade proceduresPreferred Qualifications:Certifications such as JNCIA, JNCIP, or equivalent are highly desirableTelecommunications network experienceFamiliarity with VoIP ,SIP, WDM technologiesExperience with Fiber and Fixed Wireless broadband service vendors: Adtran, Tarana, and NokiaCompensation & Benefits:Compensation is determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.Benefits: Commnet is proud to offer a comprehensive suite of benefits to all regular full-time positions (hourly & salaried) to promote overall health, wellness, and financial security for you and your family.
