We are looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist who is passionate about providing first class interventions. In this position, you will treat injuries, pre-existing conditions, and problems causes by illnesses or disease. You will also treat conditions related to genetic and neurological disorders.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Evaluate, create an individualized plan of care and provide treatment to suit the individualized needs. Educate patients and family members; keep detailed records relating to patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress. Report progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals. Oversee and supervise assistants to ensure POC is followed per state guidelines.
Memorial expects our occupational therapists to focus their practice on helping patients who have physical or developmental disabilities improve their independent living skills. You will have the opportunity to work alongside our physical therapist and speech therapists at our location specific for patients. You must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, pay attention to detail, have patience and empathy.
RequirementsBachelors or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program of study. Licensed by the Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Athletic Trainers Board to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Ohio.
