Tasked with overseeing and shaping financial strategy, operations, and performance. This pivotal role demands a seasoned financial expert who will provide executive leadership to the finance and accounting teams, champion financial excellence, and drive strategic alignment and business growth across our National Chains. You will have the opportunity to influence key business decisions, shape organizational strategy, and ensure financial success. This position requires expertise in Foodservice distribution, specifically National Chain restaurant accounts. Key Responsibilities Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and execute strategic financial initiatives and plans that align with National Accounts business objectives, driving revenue growth, cost optimization, and overall profitability. Provide executive leadership and strategic direction to the finance team, establishing clear priorities, goals, and objectives to achieve financial targets. Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes, ensuring alignment with business goals and market conditions. Conduct detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling, to deliver actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Business Partnering and Collaboration: Work closely with National Accounts Executive Vice President to provide financial partnership, and support for strategic initiatives, investments, and decision-making processes. Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner, offering expert financial advice, risk assessments, and recommendations. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and evaluate National Accounts performance against strategic objectives, KPIs, and targets, delivering regular updates and insights to senior management and stakeholders. Direct the preparation and presentation of detailed financial reports, forecasts, and analysis to executive leadership and the board of directors, guiding strategic discussions and initiatives. Process Improvement and Optimization: Identify and drive opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization within the finance function to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness. Lead initiatives aimed at streamlining financial & enterprise processes, connecting initiative activities to superior financial performance. Core Competencies Strategic Vision: Proven ability to develop and execute financial strategies that align with business objectives. Analytical Acumen: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex financial concepts to diverse audiences. Business Acumen: Deep understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations and their application to business operations. Results-Oriented: Proactive and results-driven, with a proven track record of driving change and achieving financial goals. Team Collaboration: Strong team player with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership. Leadership: Exceptional leadership and management skills with a history of motivating and developing high-performing finance teams. Qualifications & Experience Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or business analysis roles, with substantial experience in financial leadership and strategy. Demonstrated success in driving financial performance, business growth, and operational excellence. Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis, with expertise in Microsoft Excel and financial software tools. Ability to successfully pass a background check post-offer acceptance. The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidates unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law. In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMarks benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
