What You'll be Doing: As the
Associate Director, CPM Presales , you will lead a team of highly skilled presales consultants to demonstrate the value of our Corporate Performance Management (CPM) solutions to potential clients. You will be responsible for shaping and executing presales strategies, collaborating with the sales team, and directly engaging with prospects to understand their financial and operational needs. Key Tasks: Lead and Manage the Presales Team:
Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of presales professionals. Drive professional development of team members to ensure high-level technical proficiency and presentation skills. Foster a collaborative and high-performance environment within the team. Collaborate with sales leadership to align presales activities with the overall sales strategy. Partner with account executives to identify and qualify opportunities, and tailor product demonstrations to meet customer-specific needs. Assist in crafting responses to RFPs, RFIs, and technical questionnaires, ensuring alignment with customer requirements. Solution Expertise and Demonstrations:
Maintain an expert level understanding of CPM software functionality, with in-depth knowledge of financial consolidation, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and AI-driven analytics. Deliver impactful product demonstrations to prospects, clearly articulating the value and ROI of the software. Customize demos and proof-of-concepts (POCs) based on customer requirements and pain points as required. Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as a trusted advisor for clients, helping them understand how the CPM software can solve their financial and operational challenges. Lead technical discussions and product workshops to address client questions and requirements. Collaboration with Product Teams:
Provide feedback to the product management and development teams based on customer and market insights to influence the product roadmap. Stay up to date on the latest product enhancements and industry trends, especially those relating to financial performance management. Process Improvement:
Continuously improve presales processes and best practices to ensure efficient use of resources and increased win rates. Develop and refine templates, playbooks, and training materials for presales activities. You're a Great Fit if You Have/Can: Industry Experience:
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the CPM space, with at least 2 years in a presales leadership role. Technical Expertise:
Deep knowledge of CPM software (e.g., CCH Tagetik, OneStream, Anaplan, Oracle EPM), including financial consolidation, budgeting, planning, and forecasting modules. Leadership Skills:
Proven track record of building and managing high-performing presales teams. Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with experience presenting to senior-level decision-makers (CFOs, FP&A directors, etc.). Sales Acumen:
Ability to partner effectively with sales teams to drive revenue and support the entire sales cycle. Analytical Skills:
Ability to translate complex customer requirements into actionable presales strategies and demos. Bachelor's degree
in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or CPA is a plus. About the Team:
